This program offers interested volunteers an opportunity to give assistance to the fashion industry, community, and the society in which we live. Clubs, students, and faculty and staff are welcome to tap the information available regarding local organizations requesting volunteers.
The Volunteer Coordinator in Room A718 handles inquiries about procedures for initiating and maintaining volunteer opportunities. During the fall and spring semesters the Volunteer Coordinator is available between 4 pm and 9 pm, Monday through Friday. Each fall semester the SVCS holds a Volunteer Expo to introduce interested volunteers to the agencies in need of their service. The Children's Hope Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 7th on 6th, the CFDA fashion shows, and the Great Toys for Tots are just a few of the volunteer opportunities available.
For more information, contact the Department of Student Life at 212.217.4142.
