BEHIND THE CREATION OF FIT'S FIRST OFFICIAL ATHLETIC LOGO
NEW YORK, NY -Hue, FIT's alumni magazine, recently published an article that gave the public insight as to how the first official athletic logo was created. FIT AT SUFFOLK INVITE; JACKI KICKSEE BREAKS 200 BACKSTROKE RECORD

NEW YORK, NY - Swimming with just three women and three men, the FIT Tigers competed well at this weekend's Suffolk Invitational. The women finished third out of four team with 125 points, while the men finished fourth our of five team with 138 points. Suffolk's women won the meet with 253 points and the men of Delhi were victorious with 302 points. Read More.
FIRST MEET OF THE SEASON IN THE BOOKS FOR NEWLY LED SWIM TEAM
NEW YORK, NY - Eager to get started under new Head Coach David Hildebrand, the Tigers were unable to get going as planned because of Hurricane Sandy hitting the area hard. However, after only postponing one meet, the Tigers finally got their first competition under their belts as the women placed 2nd (198 points) and the men 6th (75 points) at the SUNY Delhi meet on December 1st. SUNY Delhi won both competitions with 253 points for the women and 311 points for the men. Read More
Women Place 2nd at Region XV Cross Country Championships; Dieter Gutbrod Places 4th Overall in Men's Race

SUNKEN MEADOW STATE PARK, NY - The FIT Cross Country Team was at the Region XV Championships in late October, held at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY. The women's team placed 2nd overall, only 5 points away from a Championship. FIT's lone male runner, Dieter Gutbrod, placed 4th overall amongst a 40 person field. Read More

Megan Houff Takes Home Player of the Year Honors; Coach Thomas Named Coach of the Year

Four Volleyball student-athletes were named to the 2012 Region XV All-Region Team, which was recently announced to the schools. Meghan Houff was named the Player of the Year while Lauren Curley grabbed a spot on the second team. Rachel Carey landed on the second team and Sarah Grochowski rounded out the FIT All-Region representatives on the honorable mention team. Also announced was the first-year coach Carrie Thomas took home Coach of the Year honors. Read More
